This demonstration shows retrieval of similar textures, regardless illumination conditions.

The CUReT texture database consists of images of 61 materials, each acquired under 92 different illumination and viewpoint directions.

Click on the image and system will find other similar images. The images are considered to be similar if the structure is similar, regardless colour or direction of illumination. The result images are ordered from left to right and than top to bottom. The first is image is the most similar and than dissimilarity increases.
